1. Data We Collect and Store
To ensure the functionality of Trellify, we store the following data in our database:
1.1. User Account Information
- Email: Used for account registration and user communication.
- Password: Stored as an encrypted hash for security purposes.
1.2. Trello Data
- userId and username (Trello): Used to identify the user in Trello.
- Token: Trello access token, which allows the app to fetch data from Trello for webhook functionality. The token is retained even after the user is deleted from the database to maintain webhook functionality.
- Webhooks: Information about created webhooks used for sending notifications about events in Trello.
1.3. Telegram Data
- chatId and username: Used for sending notifications through the Telegram bot.
1.4. Other Information
- User language: Stored to configure app localization settings.
2. How We Use This Data
- For Webhook Functionality: Your Trello token is used to create and maintain webhooks for selected boards and events.
- For Sending Notifications: Telegram data is used to send event notifications configured in your Trellify account.
- For Authentication: Email and password ensure secure access to your Trellify account.
- For User Settings: Your Trello and Telegram credentials are used to personalize your app experience.
3. Data Storage and Protection
All data is stored on secure servers with modern encryption methods:
- Passwords are stored as hashes.
- Trello and Telegram tokens are stored in encrypted form.
- We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.
4. Data Sharing
We do not share your data with third parties, except as required by law or to work with Trello and Telegram APIs.
- Webhooks are created to transfer events from Trello to Telegram via our server.
5. Data Deletion
If a user deletes their account, all related data (email, password, Telegram username) will be removed from our database.
Exception: The Trello token is retained even after account deletion if the user created webhooks. This is necessary to ensure the uninterrupted functionality of active webhooks. You can manually delete webhooks via Trello settings or contact our support team.
6. Compliance with Trello and Telegram Policies
- Trello: We use the Trello API in accordance with Trello’s terms of use. We collect only the data necessary to ensure webhook and notification functionality.
- Telegram: We use the Telegram API for sending notifications. We do not store the content of messages, only initiate their dispatch. Telegram's privacy policy is available here.
7. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated in the future. We will notify users about changes via email or in-app notifications.
